Fox Dreaming of the Moon
A fox, curled up, content and at ease. A crescent moon in the sky above the fox, reflected in a pond. The fox might be asleep, might be dreaming. Or maybe she is watching the moon slowly move across the pond.
I love foxes. I had never seen a fox in the wild before moving to London in the 90's. Urban foxes are not a rarity here, they saunter down the road at twilight, slip into gardens, sun themselves in warm exposed places during midday. They are at home in the city, yet they are wild, of the wild.
I love them with all my heart.
Limited edition of 9 numbered linocut prints
Printed in two layers, fox-orange and midnight blue water-based printing ink on acid free cartridge paper, 190gsm.
Some of the foxes' fur is of a lighter more feathery orange, whilst others' fur is of a deeper denser orange.
The print you receive might differ slightly from the one shown above. Each linocut is individually inked, hand-pulled and is unique.
Please be assured that I only enter prints that I believe to be beautiful into my limited editions.
