Limited edition linocut, edition of 16 numbered prints
Hookland otters (Lutra Lutra Hooklandii) love to feast on white water lilies and enjoy the psychotropic properties of the plants. If you are lucky you may spot an otter chewing on the white flowers, dreaming and floating in the Field of Prophecy, in the waters of the Restal Wastes.
This image shows a Hookland otter communing with the spirit of the white water lily and the beings of the Restal Wastes.
The linocut was inspired by ‘Wyrd Wanderings 2’ - Tattoo Labyrinth Dave in conversation with Matt Adams; reprinted in Rituals and Declarations (Volume 2, Issue 2), with permission of David Southwell of the Hookland Folklore Society.
Printed in Prussian Blue water-based ink on 190gs acid-free cartridge paper.
Please note that the colour of the print you receive might look different from the way it appears on your monitor. Your print may vary slightly from the image above; each linocut is printed by hand and is unique.
